By using kbaco.net and placing an order, you agree to the following terms. Please read them. They are written to be clear, not to obscure anything.

About our products

KBA & Co products are handcrafted personal care items made with organic botanicals and carrier oils. They are intended for topical use (unless labeled otherwise) as personal care products.

None of our products are intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication, talk to your healthcare provider before adding any new herbal product to your routine.

Blog and educational content

The blog on this site shares what we have learned about herbs and herbalism. It is educational. It is not medical advice. We cite published research where we can, but we are not doctors and this is not a substitute for professional medical guidance.

Patch testing

Natural does not mean allergy-free. We recommend doing a patch test before using any new product, especially if you have sensitive skin or known plant allergies. Apply a small amount to the inside of your wrist, wait 24 hours, and check for any reaction.

Payments

All payments are processed securely by Square. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Square's Terms of Service. We do not store payment card information.

Digital products

Digital products (such as the Herbal Field Guide) are delivered electronically after payment is confirmed. Because they can be downloaded immediately, digital products are non-refundable.

The collective

KBA & Co hosts products from independent partner makers. Each maker is responsible for the accuracy of their product descriptions and for fulfilling their orders. KBA & Co handles the storefront and checkout; the partner handles manufacturing and shipping.

Intellectual property

All original content on this site, including blog posts, product descriptions, and the Herbal Field Guide, belongs to KBA & Co. You are welcome to share links. Please do not copy and republish our content without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, KBA & Co's liability for any claim arising from your use of this site or our products is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Missouri. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Jackson County, Missouri.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
